Thank you for choosing Lost in the Forrest ("LITF") for your repotting service.

Our team takes great care when handling every plant and follows accepted horticultural best practices throughout the repotting process. However, living plants are inherently unpredictable, and their long-term health is influenced by many factors outside of our control.

By authorizing LITF to perform repotting services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk

Plants may experience stress, transplant shock, leaf loss, slowed growth, decline, or death following repotting.

These outcomes can occur despite proper handling and care and may result from factors including, but not limited to, the plant's existing health, environmental conditions, watering practices, pests, disease, root condition, seasonal timing, or other circumstances beyond LITF's control.

Limitation of Liability for Plants

LITF does not guarantee the future health, growth, appearance, or survival of any plant following repotting.

While our staff will use reasonable care and professional judgment, LITF shall not be held responsible or liable for any decline, damage, deterioration, or death of a plant occurring during or after the repotting process.

Limitation of Liability for Containers and Property

Although we handle all containers, pots, planters, and related materials with care, LITF is not responsible for damage to containers, decorative pots, planters, saucers, stands, furniture, flooring, or other property that may occur during the repotting process.

Customers acknowledge that containers may contain pre-existing weaknesses, hidden cracks, manufacturing defects, or age-related wear that can contribute to breakage or damage.

Existing Plant Conditions

Customers understand that LITF may be unable to fully assess a plant's health prior to repotting.

Any pre-existing conditions, including root rot, pest infestations, disease, nutrient deficiencies, structural instability, or environmental stress, may affect the outcome of the service and are not the responsibility of LITF.

Acceptance

By requesting and authorizing repotting services, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this agreement and release Lost in the Forrest, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liability arising from or related to the repotting service.
